Project

My goal on  this project was to create a beautiful and functional entertainment area. The intention was to make the room feel sophisticated, yet warm and comfortable. 

The furnishings are inspired by the mid-century modern style. To create the right mood I chose an earth tone palette, combining simplicity with elegance. 

There are sconces above each art piece to highlight the collection. The sitting area can accommodate a group of eight people and has ideal lighting for reading. Featuring two coffee tables and 3 side tables, the sitting area has ample space for cocktails with friends or a quiet game. The round table can be used for poker nights or family gatherings. The proximity to the windows gives  everyone an  inviting view of the sunset. Having the wet bar in close by  also makes guest entertainment functional and seamless. The wet bar has enough room for sitting a group, and it is a perfect place for an evening of whisky tasting. 

This project was designed to accommodate separate group activities or big gatherings. The marble floor is ideal due to its high durability, easy maintenance and elegance. The simple lines of the furniture combined with the earth tones bring this inviting atmosphere all together.
